Dress code and appearance

We know about your busy daily routine, your dynamic life, we know how difficult it is to make time for art, for entertainment, for rest, we know that you come to the theater after work. That is why we do not require a specific dress code from the audience. Of course, there are also extremely inappropriate clothes - flip-flops, shorts, tracksuits. Etiquette requires you to remove your hat (ladies included) so as not to disturb the spectators behind you. The theater halls are perfectly air-conditioned in any season, we invite you to leave your outerwear and luggage in the cloakroom. It is free of charge. Strong odors (pleasant or not) are not welcome in the theater due to the closeness of the spectators in the hall. You never know what is making your neighbor in the seat sneeze.

Arriving at the theater

It is customary to arrive at the theater 30 minutes before the announced start time of the performance, so that the audience has enough time to leave their coats in the cloakroom, "powder their noses" and settle into the hall comfortably.

Delays

We want you to have a good time at the theater! And to come back again and again. In order to ensure a pleasant (for the audience) and unhindered (for the actors) flow of the performances, late spectators are not allowed into the halls after the start of the performances. The concentration of the live actor on stage is crucial for the theatrical event. Our actors are exceptional professionals and their transformation into an image from the outside looks like child's play, but in fact it is not. Respect them and the spectators who have already been transported into the world of the spectacle, come on time!

Accommodation

You can wait for the gong for the audience in the theater lobby. When the signal for the audience to be admitted is given, the hall staff will start checking the entrance tickets and will direct you to which side of the hall your seats are. You will be greeted in the hall by ushers who will seat you in your seats if you do not know where they are. If you have taken your seats and other spectators need to pass you to get to their seats, it is polite to stand up so that you can pass comfortably.

Food and drinks

Food and drinks are not allowed in the theater halls. We only allow the bringing in of water (still water), which is essential for all of us. Since the time of the performances coincides with dinner time, we advise you to have a light snack before entering the theater.

Children
We love children. We want to see them in the theater halls. We hope that you, their parents, teachers, educators, will feed them a love of theater. It is important to know that the performances of the Drama Theater are NOT suitable for children under 12 years old (some even for children under 14 years old), so we do not allow small children into the halls. Of course, there are children who will stoically watch an entire performance, will even understand it, some will even like it. But please trust us that for the most part the plots, theatrical means of expression, language will not simply not be understood, but are unsuitable for the child's psyche. Children's too early contact with the theater can have the opposite effect in terms of their perception of this art. And if we create a performance suitable for the younger ones, we will note this in the repertoire, in the programs and invite them. It will be a pleasure for us!

We wish you a pleasant viewing!
