Drama Theater "Stefan Kirov"

Theatrical traditions in Sliven began 140 years ago, when the first theater stage was opened in the city. In 1918, the first professional theater troupe was created in the "Zora" community center. Drama Theater "Stefan Kirov" has been a professional state theater for 60 years. The new theater building was built in 1986 and has a large hall (484 seats), a chamber hall (121 seats), a ballet hall, a hall for one actor, a rehearsal hall, a spacious lobby on two levels with a bar for spectators, and an administrative part on five levels. In 2018, the theater celebrates its 100th anniversary.
